The Embossing on the Vellum was done using a Winter Wonderland Cuttlebug Embossing Folder!

Peterborough Training...

So last Sunday was spent in Peterborough with the Lovely Monica, Bekka & around 45 other Lovely Ladies and a Gentleman. It was a fabulous day and with so many swaps, there is lots of inspiration flying around but as I mentioned in my previous post I wasn't feeling myself so didn't actually finish the projects... I did however spend a few hours yesterday finishing them off... well apart from the Button Necklace as I can't remember how to make that one :( Would have made a lovely gift for my sister's birthday on Thursday but Heyho never mind, i'm sure I can ask Monica or Bekka for some instructions.

Onto the projects... in no particular order... and please excuse the photo's, unedited and taken with my Blackberry as HisLordShip has lost the tripod clip... so need to purchase a new tripod... MEN!!!

First up is the Accordian Purse by Monica, not sure I did this right but I was slightly sleepy, so may have another go in next few days!

Next is the Cake Shop card... I did start this at training but the tombow wasn't being my friend and the canopy is a bit sticky :( so think I will have to have another go with this one too, or maybe that's just an excuse to make some more ;P

This next card I absolutely loved the technique... it involved babywipes and re-inkers which are going on my next order as I so need to do this again and again

This was Bekka's class... now I absolutely love scrapping, but can't remember the last time I did any! I made a start on this at training, cut paper to size, punched corners and a few circles etc, but couldn't even think about putting it together without a photo, so when I got round to doing this yesterday I knew of the perfect photo and in true scrappers style I just had to play around with embellishments... Hope Bekka like's the finished project! I just have an A & B and maybe the date to add :)

Well... I'm afraid that is all for now... I do have other cards to show but need to take photo's! I still have the tutorial to photograph and pop into PDF format... Really hoping to get it done this week, but can't promise as I have appointments everyday except Saturday & Sunday, but I will get it done, that I can promise :)

Until next time HUGS xxx

Apologises...

I had hoped to be back sooner but I've not been myself for the last couple of weeks, my life just feels out of sorts at the moment... On January 28th I had to say goodbye to my BFG (Big Friendly Giant)
He was the grand age of 9yrs 1month (63yrs old in Dog years), apparently for Pedigree's that's a good age. Due to his age, the fact that he was a Pedigree and this is quite common for them, his back-end started going on the Wednesday, usually he'd get up for a tickle when the boys arrived home from school but he didn't he let them come to him instead, Thursday evening was the worst he stood for a tickle and just collapsed as his legs couldn't hold him any longer, so HisLordShip carried him to the rug infront of the fire and he stayed there for the rest of the night... I stayed with him all night, giving him water when he looked for his bowl, he had also lost his appetite didn't even entertain his Dentastix which he usually loved, so Friday morning I made a phone call to the vet who squeezed us in with a sit and wait appointment from 11.45am onwards. He managed to walk into the vets waiting area and where he would normally have been trying to play with the other dogs, pups etc he didn't he just lay down and waited to be called... he mustered the energy to walk into the vets room where she examined him and found that his abdomen was swelling again which meant the tumour had returned, she said it had spread to his Liver and that rather than put him through another operation of which he may not come through it would be nicer to let him go to sleep peacefully and painlessly... so 1.30/1.45pm he left the world for a better place!
As HisLordShip had taken a short leave of absence from work to allow him to take us to the vets we had to then inform his boss, who you'll remember me mentioning he had Fubar's brother Jake, that he would return to work after we had told the boys when they arrived home from school... he said he knew how HisLordShip felt as later that evening Jake would be joining his brother as he'd just had a call from the vet saying Jake wasn't getting any better and they had done everything they could for him... we couldn't believe that both dogs had come into the world minutes apart and had left the world within a few hours of each other! May they rest peacefully together!

As you can appreciate I haven't done any crafting as I just haven't felt like it... I'm still waiting for it to sink in, just this Friday gone I turned to give the empty ice-cream tub to lick clean as I would always do!
I did go to the Peterborough Training Event with the lovely Monica and Bekka, but have to admit I came home with a few unfinished projects which I will finish by the weekend and get them posted along with the Pizza Box Tutorial I have promised you!
