July... there was a weekend away with the Leeds Paper Dolls to Alston in Cumbria... the scenery was absolutely breath-taking and the company was amazing... so much fun and laughter with friends combined with scrapping... what more could you ask for?
Thank-You Kirsty for organising it
I managed 10 layouts in one weekend... here are 5 of them as i've doubled them for the boys A-Z Albums!
I... for Independent
J... for Journey
K... for Knowledge
L... for Love
M... for Mum
Alison... a big thank-you for your advice in regards to journaling... it has helped immensely, even after the weekend
An absolutely HUGE has to go to Nats... as she drove me to both events and is a fantastic friend!
Another one for July was a weeks holiday with my 2 boys, a friend and her daughter... another trip to Cumbria but, a different area... Flookburgh near Cark & Cartmel!
We stayed at the 'Lakeland' Haven Caravan site... was throwing it down when we arrived and for the first 2 days but then the sun came out to play... we walked, the kids went swimming and go-karting and a few nights in the club for a bit of entertainment... my boys loved nearly every bit of it and that was all that mattered to me!
Since returning home from Holiday... school uniform has been bought and I was lucky to get the boys shoes as they were the last 2 pairs of size 2 on the shelves in all shoes, trainers & plimsolls that were needed to be bought... I still need 2 pairs of trousers and a waterproof coat but they go back to school on Tuesday so doubt i'll get them before then! They are at that age where not just any coat will do anymore... so I need to take them to choose the coat so that i'm not spending ages looking for coats at the end of the school day because they have hidden them!
This week the boys were away from 24th evening to 29th tea-time with the dreaded outlaws and I scrapped 9 layouts in total... again doubling 4 of the layouts for the boys A-Z Albums... here are my results:
N... for Naked
O... for Oops
P... for Partners in Crime... this is actually a clear layout but was unable to scan properly so popped a piece of white paper behind it!
Q... for Quiet
My very first Christmas layout done for a GoGo Challenge... it's the boys having a snowball fight in the first snow of the year... January 3rd 2008!
