Another Layout???
Ohhh Ok… go on… I’ll share layout number 4…
I used the lovely Sheena's Eclectic Avenue Class Kit to create this layout of Fubar standing Guard at HisLordShip’s nana’s partner’s static caravan…
We had to laugh when we first took Fubar… he never barked or made a noise at home, even when someone knocked at the door or the time someone came into the garden looking through the kitchen window but at the caravan as soon as he saw anyone walking past he was up and barking… he certainly found his voice that holiday, yet it disappeared as soon as we got back home… His Caravan Voice is what we called it!!!
He was well behaved and never jumped the veranda… less could be said about the new puppies when we took them for a visit the other Sunday, they were off like a shot over the veranda at every opportunity… I think they’ll have to be tied to the tree when we go back for the Holiday this year!!!

Special Card Request…
It was HisLordShip’s Nana’s birthday on 30th May and I was asked to make a special card by her partner so I set about browsing blogs and Google Images where I came across a lovely card that I knew she would love, I’m not sure who the blog belonged to as I’ve lost it from my bookmarks so if the card is your design please do let me know so I can give credit where it’s due
This is what I came up with… I used my Yellow Spica Pen to go round the edges of the yellow flowers to give that little bit of sparkle… because at 82 you deserve a bit of sparkle in your life
I also decorated inside the card…
I also created another of this card but without the personalisation of a name on it… I thought it would be a nice addition to my stock pile of cards… but it was snapped up straight away by MIL who had a friend whose birthday it was and she needed a really nice card and thought this was just perfect!!!
Now I also had to come up with some designs for nana from the boys, HisLordShip & I… I was stumped as I really liked the design I’d done above… so what was I to do… well the boys gave me the initial inspiration as they wanted something with buns on as Great Nana always buys them HUGE Chocolate Muffins and Cookies… so I Googled ‘Create A Cupcake’ by Stampin’ Up!… a great opportunity to play with my new stamp set and matching punch
I came across a couple of stunning cards by the lovely Jo Dumbleton and they were using the new In-Colours which I had yet had chance to play with… perfect I thought!!!
This is my attempt at recreating the lovely Jo’s Cupcake Shop… From Thomas…
I decorated the inside too…
This one is from Calum…
Again I decorated inside…
Excuse the fingers, but it just wouldn’t play nice and sit still
I forgot to take a photo of the card I created from HisLordShip & I but I have to say she loved all 3 cards and they took pride of place on her fireplace where everyone could see.
Now for the gift… I struggled and struggled… I mean what do you give a lady turning the grand age of 82, when she wants something she buys it, which leaves us all a bit stumped with gift giving… so the night before her birthday, yes I couldn’t believe I had left it so late, I finally came up with the answer…
A small shadowbox with a layout of her three favourite Great Grandchildren!!!
This now sits on top of the Fireplace where there once was a ‘crappy’ photo of the boys… nana’s words… not mine
Now I have to say this is the smallest and fastest layout I have ever completed… It’s 6x6 in size and took me an amazing 25mins to complete from choosing the papers etc to sticking it all down… I shocked myself as I have never completed a layout in less than an hour before… maybe I should scrapbook in this size more often

Casing Bug…
Hahaha… I have had the casing bug just lately, there are so many fabulous designers out there and when you have too much on your mind but lots of requests for cards I’m afraid you need to CASE!!!
This time I was asked to make not one but three Wedding Anniversary cards by HisLordShip’s nana’s partner who is blind… I like to make him cards with lots of texture and dimension so he can at feel them… so when asked to make three cards for Wedding Anniversaries I again knew which card I wanted to recreate as I had noticed it whilst blog browsing my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demo’s!
I would like to thank the lovely Tina Faghy for her inspiration xx
I have changed them slightly in design and colouring but love how they’ve turned out.
They were given and he loved all the texture and dimension on them!!!

Golf Anyone???
I was asked by MIL if I could make a special Golf themed card for FIL’s brother’s birthday… I knew the perfect card I would recreate as I had seen it recently on my Stampin’ Up! Sister’s, the lovely Julie's Blog It was just perfect timing as I knew I wanted to case this card, having so many Golfers in the family it’s hard to come up with new designs all the time!
I switched it around a little from the original design as I needed to add Bro to the Flag and the other way round it just would not have worked.
The card was well received and even the wife was impressed… so Thank-You Julie for coming up with a fabulous design xx

Last Minute Card…
Ok so I’ve shown you the Rainbow Crafts… I’ve shared a few of the layouts I’ve created… but I’ve just realised I’ve not shared any cards How terrible is that???
Ok Ok Ok…so I had best rectify that immediately… But a story about the day first
When F-SIL & Abby came over to collect the Rainbow Craft Projects, we spent the whole of Saturday together doing stuff… first we had to do an emergency run to get the boys some new school shoes as theirs were just dropping to pieces, not sure what they do with them but they had hardly any sole left
£36 later we have 2 pairs of school shoes and a pair of trainers for P.E.
Then we went for a walk around Temple Newsam House… Unfortunately we couldn’t have the audio tour as there was a Wedding taking place at the house, but would be over by 2pm if we wanted to wait, we took the tour without audio as we had other things planned for afterwards… Temple Newsam House is amazing, I loved all the architecture, the paintings, the rooms were all so different and the textures of the wallpapers were fabulous, it had been a few years since I’d last walked around the house so I really enjoyed seeing the old and newly discovered items… from there we headed to Pizza Hut… now I have a confession to make… I’d never been to Pizza Hut before, boys have been many times with grandparents etc, but I had never visited… we chose our food, F-SIL & myself were quite good and went for the low calorie Pizza’s… but then we just had to share a Hot Cookie & Ice-Cream and boy was it yummy, don’t think I could have managed a full one but I would have given it a shot
From there we headed home to let the boys and Abby take the pups for a walk whilst we adults nipped to Tesco for a few bits for the BBQ at the other F-SIL’s… we were only 30mins, got home, eventually when boys and Abby arrived back we put the pups back in the cage and went to the BBQ, got told off for being late which is nothing new with us … it was a lovely BBQ and we all headed home around 10pmish… now on the way home F-SIL who I had been with all day asked if I had any bereavement cards in stock… unfortunately I didn’t, I was asked if I would be able to make one for the morning when she was heading home… Sure I said I’ll whip you one up!
So on a mission when I got home I did a quick search for Sympathy Cards as my mind had gone blank, not something you make everyday really… I found one I liked by a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demo, although I can’t find the blog again to give credit to so if it’s yours please let me know so I can give credit where due, I snapped a quick photo on my phone so I could make it in the morning and then went to bed as it was now midnight!
Morning arrived to a very early start as HisLordShip had work… I had breakfast and a cuppa to get me motivated then I set about making the card… there was a knock at the door around 10:30am just as I had finished putting the last touches to the card… It was F-SIL to collect the card before heading home.
Card Presented…
She loved it and couldn’t believe how quickly I had made it!
She went home a very happy lady with lots of crafts for the Rainbows and a very nice Sympathy Card!!!

Through & Through…
Scrapagogo Getaway class & layout number 3… Through & Through by Rebekah Day
I didn’t follow the original layout style and I was missing the Burlap from the class, but I chose to use a sketch that was provided for the Getaway and this is my finished layout… these are quite old photo’s, I think the boys are 5 or 6 and had started Beavers, so HisLordShip was showing them how to polish their shoes for Church Parade and also for school, not that it lasted like… only bought the boys new shoes a week ago and they are all scuffed
These photo’s are of Calum & HisLordShip… I need to do another layout for Thomas & HisLordShip!

Rainbows Father’s day Project…
Along with the 25th Celebration Projects I was asked to do something for Father’s Day which is the 17th June this year… I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to use the Need For Speed Stamp set that I had purchased but as yet had not had time to use.
With the Mother’s Day Project I did a card and a gift so thought it would only be fair that the Dad’s got the same, but a chocolate in a gift box didn’t seem quite appropriate so came up with this instead…
A Post-It Note Holder and Pencil
I also made a matching 4x4 card…
I used Stampin’ Up! Always Artichoke cardstock for the Post-It Note Holder base colour and Whisper White to stamp onto, Basic Black Ink for the Image and Baja Breeze for the Dad stamp which is from the For My Family Stamp Set.
For the card I used some 4x4 card blanks I had in my stock, Always Artichoke Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Basic Black Ink, Baja Breeze Ink and the Father’s Day Sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set.
These were all bagged up into little kits for the girls to pop together and picked up on the 19th May along with the 25yr Celebration Kits… In total I had put together 160 Kits.
My F-SIL has put me forward for the Go-To Person for Rainbow, Brownies, Girl Guides, Scouts etc for Craft Projects as she loves that I put them all into little individual bags ready for her to just hand out and LOVES all the projects I come up with for them!!!

A Spiffing Idea!!!
As I mentioned before I have been Scrapbooking and have fallen back in love with it… I created 4 layouts in 1 Day, SHOCKED!!!… I was!!!
Here is Layout number 2…
One of the boys actually took this photo of nannie whilst they were visiting, its a few years old but when I saw the Scrapagogo Getaway Spiffing Idea Class Kit by Nicola Kerridge I knew this would be the perfect photo for it
It’s a nice simple layout but I love the comical side of it!
